BBFF, Belluard Bollwerk Friends Forever, is the participatory mediation strand of the Belluard Bollwerk Festival, which every summer for over forty years fills a week and a half with committed dance, music, theatre and performance. In 2026 I spent a week inside it, watching shows, drifting around the site, catching its late evenings, under that year’s theme, Underground Complicity. My response is a magazine: images I shot myself across the week, some during or around the performances, others from my own way through the place and its surroundings. Less a document of the festival than a trace of how the week felt from where I was standing.

ODE, a performance by Catol Teixeira, captured during the festival.
